SCHEDULE:

1.     The pools are open from approximately Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend

2.     The pool hours are from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m., 7 days a week

3.     ADULT LAP SWIMMING from 5 a.m. — 7 a.m. daily

GENERAL RULES:

1.     There is no lifeguard on duty — swim at your own risk

2.   Swimmers must be current members of the pool or an invited guest of a member

3.     Swimmers must shower before entering the pool — showers are in the locker rooms or on the outside wall near entrance

4.     Persons who are sick or with known communicable skin diseases should not use the pool

5.     Swimming diapers must be worn by small children who are not toilet trained

6.     Flotation devices are allowed provided they are not becoming a hazard to safety.  If the pool becomes crowded and unsafe, the monitor will use their discretion and might ask you to put them away

7.     No running in the pool area

8.     No diving, flips or back jumps off the sides of the pool

9.     No hanging on the basketball rims or volleyball net — parents please monitor the activity pool to assure this is being followed

10.   Horseplay, roughness, fighting and cursing are prohibited

11.   Insubordination can result in loss of privileges. If police are called to respond to a pool incident involving an uncooperative member, pool membership for the season will be revoked with no refund. Pool monitors have the final say if any problems arise and have the right to ask someone to leave the pool area

12.   No food or drinks are allowed within 6 feet of the pool area — preferably keep in the shelter

13.   Chewing gum is not allowed

14.   No glass containers allowed in pool area — drinks and alcoholic beverages in plastic or aluminum containers are allowed

15.   Smoking is strictly forbidden

16.   Members and guests must clean up after themselves.  Please keep the area clean and free of litter

17.   Be aware of your neighbors and keep noise at an acceptable level

PARKING:

1.     Parking is only allowed in the assigned pool stalls.  If stalls are filled, please make sure to park along streets without impairing access to mailboxes or driveways.

2.     Pool parking stalls are strictly for those enjoying the pool during pool hours

CHILDREN/GUESTS/BABYSITTERS:

1.     All guests must be signed in by a Westbridge adult pool member but adult guests over the age of 16 may then stay by themselves

2.     Members are responsible for making their guests aware of and ensuring they follow all of the pool rules

3.     Members and guests must sign in at the Monitor Station every time you enter the pool

4.     A Member household can have a maximum of 6 guests at one time.

5.     Punch cards for guest passes can be purchased in advance or as needed from the Monitors. 10 punches for $25. Cards can be left at monitor station.

6.     Babysitting passes can be purchased for $25 for the season — $5 for each additional sitter and they all have to sign insurance form. Note grandparents (maternal or paternal) count as one babysitter.

7.     If babysitters are not at the pool as the primary caregivers, they need to be signed in as a GUEST –example is if grandparents babysit, they are guests when they accompany you and your children.

8.     You are allowed a max of 2 babysitters if needed to watch your children as long as they are signed up and paid for. Babysitters may not bring guests to the pool.

9.     Children age 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult

10.   Member children 13 and up can be unsupervised but may not bring outside guests to the pool until they are 16. Only children 16 and over can accompany minors under 13. For example, your 15 year old may be at the pool unsupervised, but may not supervise younger siblings who are under 13 and may not bring in non-member guests.

STAFFING:

1.     A pool monitor will be available from approximately 9:00 a.m. — 9:00 p.m. each day.

2.     The pool monitor will help keep the pool area and bathrooms clean, collect guest fees, tend to minor maintenance issues, sell concessions, keep the area safe, etc. — but the monitor is NOT a lifeguard

SEVERE WEATHER AND SAFETY:

1.     Presence of thunder or lightning, even in the distance requires everyone to exit the pool and the pools close

2.     One ½ hour must pass after thunder or lightning has passed to re-open the pools

3.     In some circumstances, the pool monitor will ask all persons to exit the pool to ensure safety.  Please comply if the request is made

OTHER:

1.     Members who are not confirmed for paying initial fee and annual membership will not be allowed to use the pool

2. If the weather is below 70 degrees, we will dismiss the monitors and close the pool.
